Protecting your privacy is of utmost importance to DataLabs.store. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our website and services.
1. Data Collection
DataLabs.store provides data extraction and synchronization services that allow users to extract data from various cloud-based platforms ("Sources"). When you use our services, we collect and process data from these Sources based on the permissions you grant when authenticating DataLabs.store's application to access your accounts on the Sources.
We also collect limited information directly from you when you create an account, contact us, or use our website — such as your name, email address, and company details — and we automatically collect certain technical and usage data via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 9, "Cookies & Analytics").
2. Data Storage
DataLabs.store hosts the substantial majority of customer databases on our own dedicated infrastructure located in the EU and United States. For customers whose data volume exceeds our standard tier's capacity, we also offer an optional Azure SQL Database hosting tier, currently available in the EU region. If you select this tier, Microsoft Azure hosts your data as a sub-processor acting on our instructions (see Section 6, "Data Disclosure").
Regardless of hosting tier, we only store a limited set of data for our customers, including:
3. Data Usage
We use the data extracted from your connected Sources solely to provide our data extraction and synchronization services to you. We do not use this data to run our own marketing campaigns or newsletters, and we do not use it to contact your contacts on your behalf.
Once you become a DataLabs.store customer, you will not receive marketing emails or newsletters from us. Where relevant, our Service — including AI-assisted features — may surface suggestions about other DataLabs.store features in direct response to your own requests. These are not marketing communications and are never sent as separate, unsolicited messages.
4. Data Security
DataLabs.store takes data security seriously. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only, connections to our services are encrypted in transit, and our infrastructure is configured to limit external exposure of database and administrative interfaces. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously review and improve our practices. For more detail, see our Security page.
5. Prospective Customer Outreach
From time to time, DataLabs.store contacts prospective customers by email to introduce our services. This outreach uses business contact information obtained independently of our data extraction Service, and is sent through Brevo, a third-party email service provider that performs its own compliance checks on our campaigns, contact lists, and unsubscribe handling.
You may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting products@datalabs.store. We honor opt-out requests promptly.
6. Data Disclosure
DataLabs.store does not sell, rent, or trade your data, and we do not disclose it to third parties except to the limited service providers ("sub-processors") who help us deliver the Service, or where required by law. Our current sub-processors are:
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Azure | Optional database hosting (EU region) | Customer data, only if you select the Azure tier |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Billing information; Stripe processes card data directly — we never store full card numbers |
| Brevo | Email delivery for prospective-customer outreach | Business contact info of prospects — not your Source data |
We review our sub-processors periodically and will update this list if it changes materially.
7. Payment Information
Payments for DataLabs.store subscriptions are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details — Stripe handles this on our behalf.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services to you or as required by law. When you terminate your use of our services, we take appropriate steps to delete or anonymize your data securely.
9. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to measure our marketing.
These tools are governed by Google's and Meta's own privacy policies. You can control cookies via your browser, and manage ad personalization via Google Ads Settings and Meta Ad Preferences.
We use a cookie consent banner to obtain your opt-in choice before non-essential analytics or advertising cookies are set, for visitors in jurisdictions where this is required, including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. If you are a California resident, see Section 12, "Your Privacy Rights," for opting out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not upload customer or prospect contact lists to advertising platforms for audience targeting.
10. Children's Privacy
DataLabs.store's services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children.
11. AI / Large Language Models
DataLabs.store does not exchange data with AI/Large Language Models, does not operate AI/LLMs to provide its services, and does not share customer data with AI/LLMs. Our products are designed as data tools to be consumed directly by our customers' own AI agents.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold, and to object to certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at products@datalabs.store. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Notice
DataLabs.store may update or modify this Privacy Notice at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Notice.
